Our eventful weekend....

Timmy has a big fall for the 1st time last Saturday. He was on his unstable tricycle and I was hanging out the laundry at the balcony. When I turned to hang a piece of his t-shirt on the clothes rack, he tried to get off his tricycle.

Before we knew it, he fell flat, faced down on the ground. He cried like mad and his whole mouth was filled with blood. Scared the wits out of Terence & myself!

We used up at least 4-5 pieces of tissue and they were soaked with blood. Even my t-shirt was stained. We used ice to try stop the blood and tried to pacify him with juice. After pacifying him, I prayed for him and he fell asleep. That day, his lips were swollen like a goldfish.
Our heart ached! Thank God he ate and drank well.

Yesterday was Father's Day in Canberra as well as Senior's Appreciation Day in our church. The kids from the Sunday School & the youths presented some items.

These kids from the Sunday School presented 2 songs during the service.

After the service ended, we had lunch. Every family, below 65 years old, had to bring a dish of food. We cooked curry chicken.

After lunch, the youths performed skits and presented songs. They were spontaneous and lots of fun! We all enjoyed ourselves.

Terence had put on a wig that was used in the skit, trying to look like *PCK and Tim was so scared that he cried.

*PCK is a well-know Singaporean comedian character

Anyway, Timmy is afraid of hairy stuff (except our hair & his hair on our heads). He doesn't dare to touch the fur of horses or sheep found in those 'touch & feel' books.
