A relaxing Saturday....

It was a beautiful Saturday. The sun was shining so we decided to go for a walk at the lake after marketing. When we went to the Farmer's Market, there were free balloons being distributed to kids. So Terence brought Timmy to get one. Timmy was so excited and kept holding on to the string of the balloon, even when he was in the car.

After marketing, we went for a walk. As we walked along the lake, we saw books being placed on the benches. We found it strange...and as we walked on, there were books everywhere. When we picked up a book, we then realised that some reading society was promoting reading so placed the books there for free reading.

Apparently, after reading, you are to place it somewhere and it gets passed on. Every person who has read the book is supposed to log on to the website and update that they had read the book. The website will then collate how many times the book has been passed around.
Quite cool isn't it?

We also brought some old bread to feed the ducks at the lake. Who knows, the response was overwhelming!

Even the swans, sea gulls & this black bird that runs very fast came along. The swans were quite aggressive and 'grabbed' the bread off Terence's hand.

I was actually 'distributing' the bread with Terence (Tim was asleep) but became scared as they were like charging towards us so I quickly snapped this shot and pushed Timmy away, before they start attacking us!
