Introducing...

Our Humble Garden

Its spring so we thought we do like what Aussies do in spring - i.e. to grow plants and flowers. From one humble mint plant we purchased in Summer 2006 (January), we recently adopted the more greenie friends to our home:

1. Roly Poly Carrots
2. Coriander
3. Reggae Roma Tomato
4. Rosemary and Chives
5. Birds-eye chilli and Mexican Jalapeno.
6. Sunflowers.

Terence's the one who has the green hands so he takes care of the plants more than I do. And some of them have been repotted twice. Let us introduce you to our new mates:

The carrots are roundish instead of longish. You can see them forming under the soil already

Reggae Roma Tomato

And you can see the green little fruit of our labour...

The herby batch

We have harvested half of the coriander and preparing to seed the other half. The coriander was used to fry cabbage last week. Rosemary and chives were used for a BBQ last weekend. As you might already noticed, we have a very functional garden - all culinary plants but no asthetics yet. Till our sunflower blooms in summer at least.

And Timothy's first task of every day is to say good morning to our greenie friends :)
