My Birthday

Yesterday was my birthday and I had the first surprise party of my life! The day started off quiet and I went off for my usual lessons. Terence told me he didn't get me any present and we would just be going to a Chinese restaurant-Happy's- in the city for dinner. So after school, we set off to city and walked around a little.... I kept saying i was hungry but he didn't seem to get any hint to get going to the restaurant...until we walked into the restaurant, I got a surprise! A group of our church friends were there and they broke out in the birthday song!

After dinner, Margot invited us over to her place for cake and mooncake. Coincidentally it was the Mid-Autumn Festival...so it was the perfect time for us to 'tuan yuan'. She prepared so much food, fruits and a lovely green tea birthday cake.

For everyone's information, this group of people are our church friends and are our closest friends in Canberra. They are from the Praise Team in our church. And Tiffany is my cousin.

Once again, we thank God for bringing us here and letting us meet all these wonderful people in church.
