Trip to Perisher Valley
Last Saturday, we joined our friends from church to go on a trip to Perisher Valley (Ski Mountain). Most of them went up the mountain to ski and snowboard but we had a baby in tow so we just went up to enjoy the snow.
It was a 2.5 hour bus ride to the foot of the mountain before taking another train -skitube up the mountain. We had to meet at church at 530 am (imagine we had to wake at 330am!!!)
Before we left, I was quite worried that Tim would not be able to endure such a long journey and we wouldn't be able to entertain him early in the morning...but thank God, he slept all the way! Also on the return leg, he also slept all the way...God really blessed us every step of the way...
This is Tim sitting on the snow...He didn't looked too excited as he was quite afraid of the snow, given his first experience with it...
This is us on the highest peak - Blue Cow.
Tim on the toboggan with Dada...Tim was quite scared of it as it slid down very fast...Thank God he didn't fly out!

It was a good trip for all of us and Tim was not much of any trouble. We all enjoyed ourselves.

Hey, I've heard about a place in Australia where it snows. NOw I know where! Thanks!
BUt the name "Perisher Valley' sounds scary. Like if you go there, u won't come back!

We actually didn't know how well known this place is until we planned to go up..
It's a very nice place..this year had more natural snow...
Your going to Brisbane for hols or your hubby going there for training?
We are going to Perth end Sep...Terence's having a conference there...
